HBDI®
TheHerrmann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI) is a psychometric tool we use toexplore an individual’s thinking styles to equip them to be a better leader.
The Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument®
The HBDI is a self assessment that evaluates and describes an individual’s thinking style. It explores the degree of preference individuals have for thinking in each of the four brain quadrants:
Analytical: Logical,analytical, fact based, quantitative
Practical: Organised, sequential, planned detailed,
Relational: Interpersonal,feeling based, kinesthetic, emotional
Experimental: Holistic,intuitive, integrating, synthesizing
The HBDI® instrument has been used by over 2.2 million people around the globe in different languages and from different cultural backgrounds. It has been the subject of more than 32 books, and over 100 articles. The organisation that use the HBDI® extensively include IBM, Coca-Cola, Kraft, Goldman Sachs, and Target.
What does thinking have to do with results? Everything.
How we think and process information directly influences productivity, communication, decision making and problem-solving. A workplace culture that celebrates diversity of thought allows people to voice their thoughts and opinions with confidence whilst also having an appreciation of the different perspectives and thinking preferences of others.
Could an enhanced understanding of the thinking preferences within your team help your organisation become more effective and efficient?
